FAQs
Why is Rhineeze so effective?
Rhineeze is the only product that delivers the right amount of saline, at the right pressure in a compact, safe, comfortable and easy to use unit. There are other devices available on the market, but they have flaws – uncomfortable to use; too expensive; prone to failure, leakage or lack sufficient pressure; too noisy and the majority are not portable.
The most common issue is having the correct pressure to reach the back of the nasal cavity and clean the mucosa without it being too uncomfortable. Rhineeze has been developed with this in mind and the unique pump action mechanism draws the correct amount of saline into the chamber and releases it at the right pressure to reach the back of the nasal cavity and clean the mucosa.
Rhineeze does not require any batteries and its portability allows it to be used daily whether at home, work or travelling - daily use is essential for those with a chronic condition. The design is compact and ergonomic, and its unique nasal tip is comfortable, prevents leakage and is interchangeable for the maintenance of hygiene.
What is sinusitis?
Sinusitis is the inflammation of the nasal passages and sinus cavities, causing blocked nose, headaches, facial pain, toothache, nosebleeds and loss of smell.
What are the sinuses?
The paranasal sinuses are air filled cavities which drain mucous secretions into the nasal airway. They are situated behind the cheekbones and forehead. The lining of the sinuses is covered with tiny finger-like projections called cilia which perform the important function of trapping unwanted particles and prevent them from entering the lungs. If this filtration system becomes impaired then we are more likely to catch infections which may lead to sinusitis or worse, bronchitis or pneumonia.
How do I use Rhineeze?
Rhineeze is easy to use. Fill the reservoir with saline via the self-sealing valve located at the base of the reservoir. Pull the slide arm back slowly until you hear a ‘click’ and slide it back to its original closed position. The device is now ‘charged’ and ready to use. Insert the tip into nostril and press the actuation button to release the saline. The saline will flow through the nasal passage, down the back of the throat and exit via the mouth. Remove the tip from your nose and repeat the process (if necessary) with the second nostril. Click here for detailed instructions.

It should be stored in a refrigerator between uses and discarded after 48 hours.
How often should I change the nasal tip?
Each nasal tip should only be used by one person. The tips can easily be removed for another user. If you use Rhineeze on a daily basis it is recommended that you change the tip every month in the interest of hygiene.
